Meet the Family Behind the Shop
Rodgers Family Auto & Truck Repair began as an idea over a Sunday family dinner and became a reality in 2023. What started with a shared passion for cars and community has grown into a trusted repair shop built on hard work, dedication, and genuine care for our customers. We’re proud to serve Lorton, VA, and the surrounding areas as a family-owned business committed to excellence.
David Rodgers Sr.
David grew up in Northern Virginia and began working at Hybla Valley Nursery at the young age of 17. He remained a dedicated member of that family business until it was sold to Fairfax County in the 2000s. Following that, he transitioned into Grounds and Facility Maintenance at Occoquan Marina.
David brings a sharp attention to detail, practical handiness, and an unwavering work ethic—traits he has proudly passed down to his two sons.
Tina Rodgers
Tina Rodgers comes from a long line of native Alexandrians and has lived in the area her entire life, aside from a brief time in Blacksburg attending Virginia Tech. She has built a successful career in financial management roles within government contracting and has also worked as a residential real estate agent for over 20 years.
Together with David Sr., Tina has instilled the values of honesty and hard work in their sons—principles that continue to guide the family’s approach to business. Watching David Jr. and Andrew grow a quality, customer-focused shop has been a source of pride and joy.
David Rodgers Jr.
After graduating from Hayfield High School in 2003, David began his automotive career as a General Service Technician at Pallone Nissan in Springfield, Virginia. Over the next ten years, he honed his skills and earned several certifications, including ASE Certifications, Nissan and Toyota Factory-Level Certifications, Certified Emissions Repair Technician, and Certified Emissions Inspector.
Seeking a change of pace, David transitioned into Service Writing and quickly found both success and fulfillment. Within just ten months, he was promoted to manager of a busy location and has remained in leadership roles ever since. His experience includes managing multiple locations at some of the most recognized independent repair shops in Northern Virginia.
David is known for his attentiveness to customer needs, strong work ethic, and his willingness to roll up his sleeves and get his hands dirty when needed.
Andrew Rodgers
Andrew graduated from Hayfield High School in 2007. Even before earning his driver’s license, he started working washing cars for a local business owner—a role that sparked his lasting passion for automobiles.
After high school, Andrew took on a role as a General Service Technician at a family-owned independent automotive repair shop. His dedication and skills quickly led him into Service Writing, then into Management and Multi-Shop Management for several of the most respected independent shops in Northern Virginia.
In 2023, Andrew took on a new role as a Sales Consultant for BG, a leader in vehicle fluid maintenance. He’s known for his strengths in organization, cleanliness, and ensuring every customer’s expectations are fully met—or exceeded.
